What equipment do I need?
You will need a computer with a good Internet connection.

What platform do I use?
I use Tutorbird to schedule Zoom lessons and to facilitate the perfect learning experience. Once logged in to Tutorbird, you will be able to view your calendar and have access to notes.

Where do I express an interest in online maths tutoring?
Once you have decided that you would like to learn online, contact me here with any questions you might have. We can then arrange a meeting to establish whether I am a good fit for your tutoring needs. From here we will proceed to a trial lesson before fully embarking on a schedule of tutoring.
How will I benefit from online teaching?
Benefits of online learning, include being able to review recorded sessions. Students log into a virtual classroom using Zoom and are taught from the comfort of their homes. I am therefore able to monitor and guide your progress step-by-step. This type of teaching is of great benefit for long-distance learners who many not have the time or means to travel, home-educated learners and learners who do not have access to qualified teachers.

What Maths curricula are being taught?
Students will now have access to the expertise of a qualified Maths teacher, who can prepare them for Cambridge exams, UK AQA, Edexcel, OCR, MEI and other exam boards.

How are lessons structured?
If there is a specific topic that your child finds challenging, I will assist and structure the lesson accordingly. In addition to assisting with homework, I can also help students prepare for tests and exams.

Is online tutoring only for individual students?
Many parents wonder if group or one-to-one online tuition is the better option. The answer depends on the students' age, skill level, and specific needs. There is a group online option for which students can sign up in order to save on fees. Please state your preference for group or individual online tutoring when you express your interest here.
What are the costs involved and how long will sessions be for?
Please follow this link to guide you through the fees involved. A session is 1 hour long. Fees are paid monthly in advance.
