I have taught maths at GCSE and A level and have written, assessed and invigilated the 11+ entrance examination for nearly 20 years in the Sutton (UK) area. For the past ten years I have been Head Of Department at a leading Sutton Grammar School. Under my leadership my students have consistently ranked among the highest in the UK at GCSE and A level. I am therefore uniquely placed to give your child the best chance of success in all of these critical stages of their education. I completed a BSc degree in Mathematical Sciences with a major in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I am an innovative and enthusiastic teacher dedicated to providing first class learning experiences for all students. This also helps me to develop engaging lessons and to motivate students to reach the fullest of their capacity. I have very good insight into the challenges students face in maths along with the strategies required to address them. In addition to improving knowledge, grades and overall mathematical skill, my aim is to instill a love of learning about maths. This, in turn, will develop greater skills in independent study and start to create a real appreciation of this core subject.
